Our cedar wood houseboats, as you can observe from the photographs, are of a rare beauty. Each boat can accommodate 6 people comfortably , with plenty of space to relax in the lounges, verandas (decks) outside and rooftop spaces. In addition to these, a comfortable dining room is provided (with kitchen facilities). As well as this, each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Each boat also includes full central heating, air conditioning, ceiling fans and hot and cold running water (bath and shower) at all times.
Our tastefully decorated double rooms maintain a traditional heritage feel, while providing many of the modern conveniences necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You can experience life as those earlier adventurers did, without sacrificing your home comforts. Each room is finished with cedar wood panelling and thick, wall-to –wall, hand weaved Kashmiri carpets.

To ensure your time in Kashmir is as comfortably as possible, we have gone to great lengths to provide for you during your stay. Nowhere is this truer than in our luxurious lounges. Here you can truly be at peace, after a day of experiencing the wonders of Kashmir. In keeping with the rest of the boat, our lounges are furnished with finely carved cedar wood panels and thick Kashmiri carpets. You may then rest on any of the beautifully decorated armchairs, love-seat(2 seater couch) or chaise-long we provide for your relaxation.
Here, you will be waited on, or be left in peace (as you wish), while you take time to read, watch satellite TV from your flat screen, or simply discuss and digest your adventures in India. The boats' chandeliers and ornamental decorations will provide you with a further visual treat. Veranda (Deck): the living rooms open on to pleasantly decked veranda. Here you can relax, sunbath and take in the beauty of the lake.
Our richly decorated dining rooms are where you will be served your morning and evening meals by our dedicate boat team. A meal is made more pleasurably when taken in such fine surroundings. We can cater to all dietary needs. Each meal will be prepared to your specification, so please don't be afraid to ask. It is our pleasure to provide for your wishes. Our chef will cook both traditional Kashmiri food (including the famous Wazwan dishes), and western meals, so that all tastes are catered for.
